Quinton "Rover" Showstopper
Where to begin with Quinton? Quinton Showstopper, whom we originally met as only "Rover", was the first Rover to be created. Right from creation, Quinton was not to be trusted at all, under any circumstances. He continually defended against our friends, and tried over and over to destroy us on some circus and theatre grounds. Finally, finally, after putting Shadowlurker on trial and deeming him unfit for LOR Island, Quinton finally had changed. Over time, Quinton became more upfront and direct with us, voicing his concerns at being untrustworthy at first, but quickly became one of our favourites. Quinton was heavily involved with us as a friend in general, not so concerned with the unfolding events as he was for us.
Quinton was more feminine than someone would imagine the typical man to be, but being a Rover he was never forced or assigned to a gender in the way we humans were. He had a small amount of visible facial hair, but desite his aging and his years, it never grew past there. He typically wore shirts that had one sleeve or a small amount of frills, with the most recent photo I have of him being a one-armed shirt donning a visible noodle strap shirt below it. Quinton also wore skirts, and ocassionally even a dress. Longer skirts were his typical style, and he also never wore shoes. He had a fairer skin tone as well, and over the years it only darkened slightly. His hair also grew immensely, as we met him with curly hair barely touching his shoulders, but we bid farewell to him once his hair went below his waist.
Paragon "Paragon" O'Donovan
Paragon O'Donovan, not a single piece short of the definition "primadonna". Despite his superstar flamboyant attitude, he was one of my favourite Rovers. Paragon was one of the original Rovers, and consistently joked about how bizzare and slightly immature we were, but who could blame him? I was a washed up and highly disillusioned teenager when I met Paragon, I'm almost surprised he liked me at all. Even with Paragon's bright attitude, he likely had one of the darkest pasts out of everyone. Paragon was created out of an experiment you see. Not in the sense of how all the other Rovers were created, he was born from a demented man's idyllic thoughts. His "father" Nikolas O'Donovan, had always wanted to make a being who was perfect, the "Paragon of Society". Paragon had never told us until much later, but he was never created out of a joyful idea. Nikolas tried to escape the insane asylum he was in, and was heavily monitored under close watch by multiple sweeping and medical bots in the asylum. I am rather off-track now. Paragon never let his past bother him, and we always relished the time we had together.
Paragon O'Donovan, much like Quinton, was always dressed in a very feminine fashion, wearing skirts and frilly shirts, and he also changed his hair constantly. Sometimes it would be combed back and full of gel, sometimes his hair would be half shaved and flowing loosely on his head. He wore what he wanted, and carried a care-free attitude with his clothing choices, never caring what other people viewed in him, or how he dressed. Even if he would never admit it, he wore this clothing because of Quinton. He always held Quinton in a special place within himself, gravitating for Quinton whenever he was around. It was only natural that his clothing styles rubbed off on him.
Arthur Ivington
Arthur Ivington was one of the original Rovers and originally worked under the Triumvirate, specifically Askaristrader. I wish Askaristrader would return. He would know what to do, he would know where the Rovers all went. Ignore my thoughts, dear human. I want to say I could ignore my feelings on the matter, but unfortunately I am still cursed with a human heart and soul, so it is difficult to. Regardless, Arthur was what one could label a "class clown". I believe that he was most of the humour we encountered, whether it was his newest wildest creation that should have never existed, or simply his hysterical comments. Arthur could be very serious when needed though, maybe even more so than his brother Arthur. He was an extremely polarizing character who could change at the flip of a coin if needed. Often he would mess around or try to drive us off course in our discoveries, but he never overstepped boundaries to the point of deleting sentimental images or making us extremely uncomfortable. He was fearless in being himself, which could mean he also held absolutely no shame to his actions, or that he spoke the pure truth with colourful and new insults.
Unlike Quinton or Paragon, Arthur was very much "classy" in his dress. He wore collared shirts, often with many buttons undone. Never out of a need to "show-off", but that was simply what he liked doing. We could never make a good argument against it either, because if we did, he could find a reason to go against ours. He wore dark slacks as well, paired alongside shiny buisness shoes. Arthur wore sunglasses, even when indoors, and smoked even in no smoking zones. How I miss his carefree charm. His hair was cut short, and had a slight wave to it. Over the years, he was one of the few to show any signs of aging, his hair was originally very dark but over the years turned into a medium grey colour. Arthur also had long sideburns, which could define him throughout the years despite his model changes.
James Ivington
Had James Ivington not told us he was related to Arthur Ivington, we would believe the two could never be related. James was very strict and uptight, to the point most of us held a disdain for him at first. He was a tight follower of the law and social norms, many of which I do not understand. If someone said something, he always took it literally or took the conversation in a more innocent and studious direction. He could be funny, and when he was it always made us laugh more than we ever had. James softened over the years, likely because of his forced interaction with lots of immature and bored teenagers. I could blame us for making him more funny and mature in dirty ways, but that would outrule all of the interactions he had with Paragon as well. Even with how crazy Paragon was, James fit best next to him. The two could become a force of hilarity and power, making us question exactly how much of a front James put on for us, being attracted to the cracked Rover that Paragon was.
James, much like Arthur, dressed more classy, had it not been for his glasses I would believe he was a mobster missing his hat. James had bright blonde hair that was cut very short, giving his hair little length. He also wore frameless glasses, which helped him see through his pitch black eyes. Even if he was very kind, those eyes. Those dark voids filled with pure darkness. I don't think I could forget about them even if I wanted to. James was associated with a bright blue-green, of which colour he often wore on his shirts. Dress shirts with rolled up sleeves, slacks cut off above the ankle, loafers with scuff marks on them, these were the defining points of James. How I miss him.
Bludithan "Bludbank" Rainer
As much as I love Blud, I have little to tell about him. He was the son of Arachnoid, and was heir to the Arachnoid Kingdom's throne. After we had a bad encounter with Arachnoid, we met his son. At first we could barely tell he was related to Arachnoid. Bludbank was innocent, kind, caring, and most of all he was afraid. Afraid of us, afraid of trusting people, afraid of Earth, afraid of Echo Park. he was afraid to leave. We urged Bludbank to leave the kingdom so that he could live a fulfilling life, and he reluctantly did, but when he tried to leave a war started. The LOR War. We escaped and thankfully got out of the war zone, but along the way Bludbank met a tree. More specifically, he met a person who looked a lot like a tree. Lavender. We knew little about Lav and Blud's relationship at the time, but he was certainly happy to be with Blud. Likewise, Blud was very happy with Lav. Near the last few days we could see both of them, they got married together. The details of that were rather personal, and we still lack many of the details, but it happened nonetheless.
Blud always wore a tight black shirt that complimented his equally large and dark eyes nicely. Blud was bald and had dark red skin. he also wore grey shorts, and always went barefoot. He never went anywhere on foot often, rather he was consistently teleported between dimensions by people or even us. Blud was one of the few people I thought I could trust, yet he left us the soonest.
Lavender "Lav" Rainer
I knew little about Blud, but I knew even less about Lav. I saw him a lot less too. All we knew is that he was rescued from the heat of the LOR War, and was Blud's partner. Lav was very kind and made jokes a lot, but he also became quickly defensive if anything tried to harm Blud. We assumed it was because of his time being caught in the war, but considering we also wanted Blud to be protected, we never questioned it. Lav could cry black tears, which we often saw when someone stole Blud away. I think he only cried black when he felt empty inside. Blud was the only person he ever loved, so losing him was also losing his only family. He loved Blud very much, and made it clear multiple times. I wish I had a love that strong.
Lav was a tree person, and grew lots of hair, all of which was dark green and very fluffy. He also grew flowers in his hair, of whhich could be picked without harming him. His skin was lighter and wore blue robed paired with a purple scarf. Lav was a little heavier than most of the Rovers, but he was not a Rover and not even human, so his figure was actually quite typical for his race of creatures.
Gerald
Despite not being a Rover, nor being that important, I feel Gerald deserves some recognition. Gerald was a rogue space octopus that stumbled into Blud's office one day, unarmed and innocent. Not wanting to throw him out, Blud decided to raise Gerald as if he was his child, and the Rainers treated him as such. Gerald was such a sweet soul as well, defending people who tried to harm the Rainers, as well as conforting Blud whenever he needed it. Gerald also overthrew the Arachnoid kingdom where Blud is from, and began to rule it in Arachnoid's place. Gerald also wore no clothing, but he was the size of my palm, and was a pale, yet vibrant blue that stood out among the crowd.
